It's chaos in Stock Town!
In a city where there’s no time to think, a series of unclear events reveal little by little segments of our daily lives. They’re demanding, complicated, pelted with an unstoppable flow of strong images, overwhelming thoughts and rushed judgements. In Stock Town people are too busy and distracted to notice the stories of ordinary madness that happen at every corner.
In this tragicomic tribute to film editing pioneer Lev V. Kuleshov, stock footage gets its own revenge.
I always been attracted, I actually love it and usually do it myself, by thr “editing” in a audiovisual piece.
In this occasion I really wanted to play with footage to create something new, different. The simple juxtaposition of images challenges your brain in such an interesting way so that nothing is given for granted. a rapid sequence of images can let you take path you couldn’t imagine a moment before.
Sometimes this makes you laugh, sometimes scares you.
What do you see now?
